About Us Grayson Willis Bennett solicitors were formed in 1999 as the first specialist criminal law practice within Sheffield. Michael Willis, Andrew Dalrymple and Mike Jones were all established criminal lawyers having practiced in the city for many years.

On 1st November 2006 we welcomed Michael Whitworth and David Adams to GWB. Both of whom had headed up the criminal law department of Irwin Mitchell solicitors, regarded as one of the leading defence teams in the north of England with a nationwide reputation.

At a time when many practices are withdrawing from criminal legal aid work, we are bucking the trend by actively expanding our range of skilled personnel. We are all passionately dedicated to defending individuals using public funds wherever possible.

Michael Willis and Mike Whitworth are both Solicitor Advocates able to appear in the higher courts. Mike Jones is a committee member of the Criminal Law Solicitors Association.
